A mandatory pre-bid meeting and tour is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, 2025. at 10:00 A.M. at the District office located at 2263 Westborough Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080 followed by a visit to the tank site. Project Scope: The project consists of structurally retrofitting a 1.88 MG (100 ft diameter, 32 ft tall) domestic, welded steel, potable water tank including installation of a supplemental ring wall foundation, micropiles, tank anchorage, roof/column/shell strengthening, additional roof vents, complete interior relining, exterior recoating of only newly installed work, among other appurtenance work as identified in the bid schedule.
Cost Estimate: The District’s estimated total construction cost for this project is $2,500,000. The estimate is intended to serve merely as a guideline of the magnitude of work. Neither the bidders nor the contractor shall be entitled to claims because of any inaccuracy in the estimate.
